Who We Are

Peace begins with people.

Initiative for Peace, Forgiveness and Love for One Another (IPFLOA) is a non-governmental organisation established with a vision of promoting peace, forgiveness, unity, love and peaceful coexistence among people and communities around the world.

IPFLOA was founded on 1 January 2026 by Ambassador Kingsley Atoe and co-founded by Engr. Bright Atoe.

The organisation was born out of a deep concern about the growing cases of conflict, hatred, division, intolerance and lack of peaceful coexistence witnessed in different parts of the world, particularly in Nigeria.

Why We Exist

Lasting peace requires more than ending conflict.

The idea behind IPFLOA grew from the recognition that many conflicts are sustained by the absence of genuine love, understanding and forgiveness among individuals and communities.

The founders believed that lasting peace cannot be achieved by addressing conflict alone. People must also learn to forgive one another, respect their differences, rebuild relationships and develop a genuine love for one another.

Against this background, IPFLOA was established to provide a platform through which individuals, communities and organisations can be encouraged to embrace peace, forgiveness, love and unity as essential values for building a better society.

Peace is not simply the absence of violence.

Love | Forgiveness | Understanding | Tolerance | Respect | Unity

What We Believe

Choose peace over conflict. Forgiveness over revenge. Love over hatred. Unity over division.

IPFLOA believes that peace begins with the individual, forgiveness heals relationships, love brings people together, and unity makes communities stronger. Through its work, the organisation seeks to inspire people to choose peace over conflict, forgiveness over revenge, love over hatred and unity over division.
